I love Pendra Road. It is my grandfather's home in Pendra Road, when he was the Civil Surgeon during the British Raj. Although we have sold much of the 3 acres land we had there, but the majestic old bungalow still stands there. It's just opposite to the Dak Bungalow in Pendra Road. I and still remember the hot and famous "samosas and khullar chai" at Pendra Road every morning. Will love to go there again with my children.

my name is arif jamal but i am more famous by my nick name which is jami.i lived in this place for quite a less time but unforgetable.now i am in UAE but i always miss it and i wish i were a bird so that i can fly and land among my friends and family.such a nice place i have never seen like this even though i have been to several countries and many places.not only the climate but also the people and culture add to the beauty of this place.what lacking this place is quality schools and good health care centers.i hope soon this will be introdused and then it will become the best of the bests.shilesh did mention some of his friedns but he has forgotten his best friend YOUGESH TIWARI????.isn't it???

I can't forget this place in my life as my father(Late.Mr.S.K.Dixit, PCS) was a PCS officer and were posted as Sub-Divisional Magistrate , thats not important but he passed away in a very early age at this particular place. I still remember the memories of this place. It is like a heaven but not for me as i gone thru a biggest loss of my life at this place.Raj

I STARTED MY LIFE IN PENDRAROAD WHEN MY FATHER WAS TRANSFERED HERE FROM BILASPUR IN 1989. I WAS A STUDENT OF INTERMEDIATE IN TIKARKALA H.S. SCHOOL,PENDRA ROAD. I LOVE LIFE HERE A LOT .MY FRIENDS i.e. SWALEH,SAMIR AICH,UDAY GUPTA,SALMAN,BUNTY TAHIR,MANJU, ANSAAR,JANARDAN MONDAL, MANISH DUBEY AND MANY MORE ADD FLAVOUR TO MY LIFE .I ENJOYED MY COLLEGE LIFE IN PENDRA FOR THREE YEARS.I PLAYED CRICKET HERE FOR MANY YEARS WHICH STILL ROAMS IN MY MEMORY.IT IS NOSTALGIA FOR MY WHOLE LIFE. MY half uncle lives here and i want to know something about the place with a view to visiting. Is it a nice place to go in India? My father was born in Calcutta and we are renewing family ties. Can anybody tell me about it???

let me clear that Pendraroad is not district place. ofcourse Pendraroad is good place for natural beauty,climate and cultural point of view. If you want to visit Amarkantak, this is the Railway station where you can alight. one speciality of Pendraroad is that this is highest railway station of s.e.c.Rly. it is on 618.2 meter high from sea level.
